Gentle movement and daylight can lift mood for many people, even a little. You do not need a gym or a run. A slow walk around the building, to the corner shop, or even up and down the corridor may help. Walking slowly and noticing what is around you, the colour of a wall, a tree, the sound of a scooter, can also quiet a heavy mind. If going out feels too hard, a few stretches near an open window count. Keep it short and kind. The aim is not fitness. It is to remind your body and mind that you can still move through the day.
Practice
Take a slow walk, even a very short one.
