Reminders

A short, private nudge at a time you choose. No login, and reminders never send us anything about how you feel.

Your reminder

Off

Reminders from our server are coming soon. For now Manas can show a gentle note when you open it after this time.

What is stored

  • Your reminder time and time zone.
  • A device token that lets us reach this phone or browser, and a random device id.
  • When we last sent a reminder.

That is all. It is anonymous: no name, email or login. Reminders never send your check-ins, moods or notes to our server. Turn reminders off and we delete this record.

What the notification says

Short, gentle lines such as A quiet minute for you? or Time for a 30 second check-in. It never mentions a condition, so it stays discreet on a shared phone.

On iPhone

Web notifications on iPhone need iOS 16.4 or later, and Manas must be added to your Home Screen first: in Safari tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and open Manas from there.

Quickest ways in

Phones do not let web apps add home-screen widgets. The fastest ways: keep Manas on your home screen, use the reminder's Check in button, or the long-press shortcuts.

Press and hold the Manas icon on your home screen for Log today, Headache, Calm me now and Help now. Android shows them once Manas is installed; iPhone may not. Once a page has been opened, it also works without a connection.
