Day 7 of 7

My worth is not my rank

A rank or a score measures how you did on one day, on one paper. It does not measure your kindness, your humour, your effort or your worth. In many places a single exam can feel like the gate to a job, a city or the family's pride, and that weight is real. But it is not the truth about who you are. Today we practise talking to yourself as you would to a friend sitting the same exam. Many people find this feels awkward at first, and that is fine. If the pressure is leaving you hopeless, please speak to a doctor, a counsellor or Tele MANAS (14416).

Take a kind-words break, then a slow warm drink pause.

This program is for everyday exam stress. If worry or low mood lasts for weeks, or you feel hopeless about a result or your future, please talk to someone you trust, a doctor or a counsellor. If you have thoughts of ending your life, call Tele MANAS on 14416 or 112 now.
