You have tried seven small things. Notice which ones helped even slightly, because those are yours to keep. Maybe the tiny step, the walk, or the kind words. Pick two and put them in your week, at times that already exist, like after your morning tea. Some days will be harder, and that is normal. If you miss a day, simply start again with the smallest step. Recovery is rarely a straight line. If low mood lasts two weeks or more, or is getting in the way of work, family or daily life, please speak to a doctor or counsellor. Asking for help is a sign of strength. Tele MANAS (14416) is free and open day and night.

If your low mood lasts two weeks or more, or you lose interest in nearly everything, please speak to a doctor or counsellor. This program is not a substitute for care. If you have thoughts of harming yourself, call Tele MANAS on 14416 or 112 right now, or tell someone near you.
