You may not get a long break, but you can often find a three-minute one. Rest does not have to be a holiday. It can be a mindful cup of tea or coffee without your phone, a short walk outside, or standing by a window for a minute between meetings. Small pauses add up, and many people find they work better with them than without. Try to attach a rest to something you already do, such as the first sip of tea or stepping out of a lift. Today, practise two tiny rests and see how your body responds, with no pressure to do them perfectly.
